Our guest this time is Junior Giscombe.

He was an important figure in the UK funk and Brit-funk movement of the 1980s.

We spoke with him about those days, the American music scene, and the unique groove that defined the UK sound.

In the second half of the program, he also shared advice for independent musicians who want to continue their journey while staying true to themselves.

He spoke about how music still connects deeply with new generations and underground music communities today.
